Privacy policy
What we collect and why, how we keep it safe, and the rights you can exercise at any time.
1. Who we are
This policy explains how Nimwold (“we”, “us”) handles the personal data it receives through this website and its registration forms. We process that data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
2. Data we collect
Your first and last name, email address and phone number with country code, together with technical data collected automatically, such as IP address, browser type, referring page and campaign identifiers.
3. How we use your data
To contact you and complete your account set-up, to provide support, to improve the website and measure the performance of our marketing channels, and to meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
4. Lawful basis for processing
Your consent when you submit a form, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
5. Keeping your data secure
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored on access-controlled servers, and our technical and organisational safeguards are reviewed regularly.
6. Sharing your data
We may share data with service providers who process it on our behalf under written agreements, or with public authorities where the law requires it. We never sell your personal data.
7. International transfers
Some data may be processed outside the UK by approved providers. Where that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement to maintain an equivalent level of protection.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as the purposes above require, or for any longer period set by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
9. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, withdraw consent, object to or restrict processing, and receive a portable copy. We respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
10. Cookies
We use cookies that the site needs to work, plus one cookie that stores market prices for 24 hours so that the price ticker loads faster. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
11. Children
Our services are for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete any such data as soon as we become aware of it.
12. Contact
For any question or request about your personal data, email [email protected].
